We offer a wide range of communication training and
development programs, all of which can be tailored
to meet the needs of anyone – or everyone in your
organization!
- On-the-Job Training and Development:
Learn
what you need to know when you need to know it,
and apply it right away to your job! We’ll work
with you to develop a competency-based program
based on your needs, and we’ll provide on-going
support for the duration of your training,
whether it’s scheduled for a day, a month, or a
year.
This training option is ideal for many different
individuals:
- those who need development or
refreshment of only certain specific skills;
- those who are remote from traditional
training and education centres;
- groups of individuals who bring unique
skills to a team.
Any number of participants can be accommodated.
Following a needs assessment, a curriculum is
prepared for each individual depending on the skills
needed, and participants progress at their own rate
as determined at the outset. Competency evaluations,
negotiated at the outset of the project, are based
specifically on the job requirements of each
learner. Ongoing support is also negotiated at the
outset, and may consist of on-site visits by the
original facilitator, or technology-mediated
contacts (such as telephone, fax, or e-mail) as
appropriate.
- Custom Seminars and Workshops:
Traditional
seminars and workshops can also be custom
tailored to your specific needs. If several
people in your organization can participate,
seminars or workshops can be arranged to
maximize group and individual learning. They can
also be held in conjunction with on-the-job
training programs. This is an effective and
efficient way to ensure you have the skill-set
needed in your organization.
Because Key Concepts Ltd. takes a
competency-based approach to learning, all delivery
modes can be offered at different levels.
Entry-level, intermediate, and senior level programs
can be offered in any subject area, and participants
in on-the-job training programs will be offered
‘seamless progression’ through the levels they wish
to attain.
